Yesterday I tried a recipe a workmate found for me – roasted chickpeas. Recipe can be found here. I could hear them popping and making a mockery of my oven (hmmm… I’ll get that later!) but I held out for the full 45 minutes. They were the shrivelled remains of what they once were, but after they had cooled somewhat they were delicious to snack on. Instead of cinnamon, which I thought a little weird, I used cumin. Two thumbs up.
